James G. Hogg is a CPA at CGN CPA PLLC, joining the firm in 2021. Jim has over 14 years of experience prior to joining CGN CPA, including 8 years of public accounting experience in Indiana and six years of corporate accounting experience in Indiana. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from IUP in 2007. He earned his CPA certificate in 2011. Jim graduated from Kittanning High School in Kittanning, PA. 

Jim has experience with a wide variety of clients, including manufacturing, construction, and not-for-profit industries, as well as business and individual taxation and planning. He also has experience in audit, review, and compilation services for various industries. 

Jim is a member of the PICPA and AICPA and has served as President of the Southwestern Chapter of PICPA. Jim has served the community as an officer and board member of various not-for-profit organizations. 

Jim believes the key to being a successful accountant is the ability to effectively communicate with clients in order to understand their needs and provide services that add value.
